The Picture Framers
Kevin and Jane approached me to help them sort out their 10-year-old, hard-coded website which was out of date and impossible for them to update themselves. They wanted something clean, visual, and easy for customers to navigate, with the ability to add content such as blogs and pop-up annoucements as needed. They had a limited budget equating to about 10 days of my time.
I helped them assess the suitability of a number of platforms and we settled on Squarespace. They wanted customers to be able to get as much information about the picture-framing process as possible before phoning or visiting the studio. That meant simple site architecture, search-friendly content, and calls to action on every page. They have since added new pages and content themselves, proving its user-friendly credentials.
Alongside the website, I grew their Google Business Profile through an email marketing campaign and competition, updated their Google Ads to make them more targeted, and shot some of the photos for their site.

"We needed to revamp our website and move it onto an easier platform so we could maintain it ourselves in the long term. Tim was great at recommending the best platform for our needs, and then his approach to re-designing was great: lots of fresh ideas, but took on board our direction. He worked at our pace and was considerate of our budget throughout. The additional marketing advice and experience he provided was invaluable.
"Tim’s work paid for itself within six months through a big increase in new business, and we’ve been able to significantly reduce our spend on paid marketing as we get more organic traffic to the website and better visibility on Google. Would thoroughly recommend and we will definitely call upon Tim if we have further requirements in the future."
